Why Go To Church?

Why do you go to church?
.
(1) To meet your friends, (2) to hear the preacher, (3) to fulfill an obligation?
These reasons are not wrong, but they do not represent our highest motivation. Our primary reason must be to worship Christ.
.
Frncois Fenelon was the court preacher for King Louis XIV of France in the 17th century. One Sunday when the king and his attendants arrived at the chapel for the regular service, no one else was there but the preacher. King Louis demanded, "What does this mean?" Fenelon replied, "I had published that you would not come to church today, in order that Your Majesty might see who serves God in truth and who flatters the king."
.
Many people attended the church at Corinth, but evidently they had some wrong motives for coming. They favored one particular teacher over another. Consequently, they were divided into factions. Some lked Paul. Some Apollos. And some Peter. This led to bickering that disturbed the fellowship and the central focus of their worship.
.
When we gather with God's people, let's not do so to be seen, nor to flatter the preacher. Let's be united in heart and keep Christ preeminent. Make worshiping Him your primary reason for going to church.
.
.
.
I insighted something and wanna share the message with you:
Worship, praise, and adoration, All are due to Jesus' name; Freely give your heart's devotion, Constantly his love proclaim.

D.I.M. Dingus

To all who are very dear to me:
.
For the sake of letting you experience a remarkable achievement, I attach some pictures showing the small dingus "Super-ken 2000X" which was designed and built for giving a help to the youth of Kam Kong Memorial Church in their game plan in August. I was employed, as the Senior Executive Designer(高級執行設計師), to make this with an interim budget (around HK$1,500) and to complete this within 3 calender days.
.
The working principle of this dingus that is quite simple and based on the game law of "First-Push-First-Talk". It is a tool to help discerning the applicant who is the first one to push the button during the answer game. Super-Ken 2000X is a series of Super-Ken 2000 made and designed by Mr. Ken Ngan (say undersigned). This dingus is a reliable and durable individual.
.
Materials for Super-Ken 2000X are outlined below, they are these:
one (1 master panel) High Grade Anti-Flaming Plastic Cabinet;
Six (6 slave panels) High Grade Anti-Flaming Plastic Panels;
Signal Lamps (6, -2 red, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 green & 1 white) and push buttons (6);
Relays (12), Sockets (12) and Twist-Paired Cables (approx 20m);
Drilling Machine and Metal Drills and Hole saws (Dia 22mm, 28mm).
.

(Signal lamps, twist-paired cables and alumin guide bars for relay brackets)

(6 nos of Anti-flamming cases and relays....)
.
The drilling was done in two steps. First, drilling a locator hole on the top of the case. This hole should be just slightly smaller than the size of the pilot bit of the hole saw. Using the drilled locator hole as guides, using a sharp hole saw (dia 28mm) to enlarge the hole to 28mm....the standard size. Same steps for another 5. One push button and one signal lamp were flash mounted on the top and side of each case.
Signal Lamp was flash-mounted at the top, and push button at one side of each slave panel.

There are six slave panels ready for teams, each team can be classified by its colored lamp, e.g.: Yellow (team 1), Green (team 2), Red (team 3), White (team 4), Blue (team 5)..and also red (team 6).

Control Circuit of Super-Ken 2000X

I printed some labels as a token of Super-Ken 2000X and adhibited on the master panel.

.
(This dingus can serve for 6 teams in the mean)
.
As a Senior Executive Designer, I hope my effort can be making a great difference to the youth living with Jesus in the Kam Kong Memorial Church.
.

Best Regards,

I'll remember the day

My friends
.
Today I wanna discuss with all of yours about the question of "should the people be responsible for looking after their aged pets until their death". It has long been a problem to all of us.
.
As in the Western culture, most of the people do take up their responsibilities for their aged pets, some favorers or the aged breeders are willing to keep a considerable sum of money for their pet even or create breeding contract to the third party so as to indemnify for their pet living. Such doing has been existing for over many years and it is not a rare case in foreign countries.
.
Obviously, the meaning of "looking after" does not simply mean a constant supply of food and medical care, providing other with a place to sleep, as many of us tend to think. There is a lot more than that. To look after our pets, I think we have to understand them, to be friendly to them, to love and communicate with them.
.
Maybe .........right after they were born, you bought your favorite pets from pet shop, and you have tried the best to look after them, to train them living and playing with other pets. I remember telling my friends about an unhappy matter and sharing my feeling with them. The unhappy matter was to face the painful decision which has been long making me regretful and that decision really made me cry after I sent it to pet hospital.
.
I remember the year in 1988, my younger brother brought a dog from his friend, this dog was quite naughty in the beginning but was gnathonic at the end. I liked it very much because Little Pit was actually making a difference to my life and to my family. Until In 2001, it became an aged dog and lived with cancer haplessly. Its body looked like as thin as a lath and sent painful call for all night long. I was unwilling to face this scene as I could not make any help to my dog. It was a difficult decision but I made on 14th in February 2001.
.

My Dog: Little Pit
.
What else can I say? I just say to all people who shall be giving more time to take care of their pets, to play more with them as well when they are still living with you.
.
With Best wishes to all breeders.

Ken
