Dear Buddy

It has been quite some time since I last wrote on my blog, actually life has been quite hectic for me, the life is "work", "sleep"and then "work", it is...it definitely is.

It was so pleasurable when putting down the boring life in a day, I had a trip to visit Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens in the most recent time. It is located on the northern slope of Victoria Peak with a highest point of 100 metres and this garden occupies an area of 5.6 hectares that was found in 1871 as a Botanic Garden and renamed in 1975 as Boanical and Zoological Gardens to reflect the increased commitments to zoological exhibits.

The keeping of wild animal exhibits in the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens can be traced as early as in 1876. At that time, birds and mammals were kept in small numbers in very primitive structures purely for entertainment purposes. At present, about half of the Garden's land is dedicated to the keeping of zoological exhibits. I saw some mamals like Black-and-White Ruffed Lemur, Ring-Tailed Lemur, Golden Lion Tamarin and found at there a good many reptiles (they are Spurred Tortoises, Malayan Box Turtule, Yellow-Margined Box Turtle..etc. About 40 enclosures are separately housing different mamals and reptiles. For the sake of proving this trip I actually went to, some pictures took at the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens are listed below and now are shared with all of my friends (like you).
