Daffodil in the Chinese Lunar New Year (1)

Good Morning My Friends
-

As you may know that the Daffodil is used prominently for decorating during the Chinese Lunar New Year in both China/Hong Kong and festivals celebrating this holiday around the world, such as Toronto and other foreign cities there are many overseas Chinese. In Hong Kong, the traditional daffodil is a ring of white pedals with a trumpet shaped center of a darker contrasting shade of Yellow. The daffodil will spread fragrance far and wide when its flowers open in your house. In fact, I don't like the bleak Chinese New Year in Hong Kong because the bleak weather makes it nonflowering.

The Daffodil is mostly found growing in the Mediterranean but there are a few species found throught Asia and China, other countries whose species have different colour codes, like White, Green, Yellow, Pink, Orange and Red; but in Hong Kong it is White & Yellow.

Listed below is my Daffodil, it has grown some ball-flowers, I guess it will be flowering shortly.

Category: Asia Daffodil

Color: Petals with White and Yellow

Condition: Nonflowering
