細聽"盲人點燈"的故事

有一盲人走在街旁，他常於身邊點一盞燈。有人問他：『你既不能看見，白日黑夜，有燈無燈，於你並無分別，而你為何還要點燈？』
盲人答說，『我怕沒有燈，人看不見，當我坐在路旁時,會成為他們的絆腳石, 我怕沒有燈，人看不見，當我走路時,會引起他們不便！』

2nd Day of the Rabbit Chinese New Year

Dear all friends of mine,
-
The year of 2011 is the Year of the Golden Rabbit, which began on the first day of the first month in the traditional Chinese calendar and will end with lantern festival (年宵) which is on the 15th day. To all Chinese people, CNY (Chinese New Year) is the most important, celebration activities in Hong Kong are absolutely attractive and amazing, such as a must for a display of fireworks over the Victoria Harbor on the 2nd day of the CNY, a colorful vehicle show on the first day of the Spring Festival, and plus plenty of other attractions.

Like all Chinese, our family spent more money on festive foods, presents and new clothing as to celebrate the coming New Year, we showed some red color couplets with popular themes of happiness, wealth and longevity everywhere in the house, and posted some festive wordings on the vase.

-

Of course, ………we adhered as well a festive word in Chinese “福” on the tortoises’ carapace (For touching lucky of the year 五福臨門, see below photo) in the manner of same doing we made last year.

On the 2nd day of it, we were enjoying with family the CNY catering (新春盆菜)of which we had ordered from Café De Coral while watching at home the fabulous fireworks on the TV. The delicious catering included 16 necessary stuff as pork, chicken, abalone, oyster, poulp, shrimp, turnip, pig skin.etc. Definitely, it was so delicious!

Meaningful Speech from a preacher

Today I have received a meaningful message from a preacher in the church, her speech (the preacher is a woman) was quite touching and good to every audience. Using the slide show as a tool to make clear the human problems..and tell people what is true, what's the worthiness of a person. let's learn the message:

She said

有錢無錢,能開心就好. Money or Not, happiness is quite important.

有病無病,能生存就好. Illness or Not, survival is quite important.

傷殘健全,能貢獻就好. Disability or Not, contribution is quite important.

Aside from the above, she brought heaps of matching sentences, but really I can't get all from her. Anyway, her speech is very touching.

My Ryukin Goldfishes

Several weeks ago, I got 12 nos. of Ryukin goldfishes from an aquaria in Mongkok , 12 nos. of Ryukin goldfishes were put in my 36-inch fish tank at the 1st week, two died after a while, another two followed the first two. Up to the present moment, only 8 are still alive in the tank.

-

The people saying that goldfishes have a hunger for eating and they are like an eating machine. I believe the best way of breeding a healthy goldfish that is not to offer too much to them everyday, a little offer each time to the fishes shall be at 3 to 4 intervals as per my experience , also PH value of the water shall be cared and periodically checked.

In Hong Kong's aquarias, ryukins are always available in a wide range of colors from white to red. They can usually grow to about six inches in length and live six to ten years (if you are lucky).

A NICE LOOKING BLACK AND GOLD RYUKIN GOLDFISH

Now, 8 new ryukins have joined in the ryukin's family here, total 16 are in the tank. Hopefully, they can be a herd of beautiful and healthy ryukins.

This Happens every year in Feroe Iland in Denmark

Please keep list going around the world....hit forward, Denmark is a big shame. The sea is stained in red and in the mean while, it’s not because of the climate effects of nature. It's because of the cruelty that the human beings (civilised human) kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins.

This happens every year in Feroe Iland in Denmark . In this slaughter the main participants are young teens. WHY?.........jus for a celebration, to show that they are adults and mature! In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun. Everyone is participating in one way or the other killing or looking at the cruelty “supporting like a spectator”. Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin calderon like all the other species of dolphins, it’s near extinction and they get near men to play and interact.

They don’t die instantly, they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks and at that time the dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child. But he suffers and there’s no compassion while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood. Its enough and it is necessary for us to send this message until this arrives in any association defending the animals, you are not encouraged to read it only as a common message while you see this, everyone shall do something to intercept the so-called "celebration".
